On 10th June 2022, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the LIFE Program, the LIFE CROLIS project was presented.

The 30th anniversary of the LIFE Program of the European Union was celebrated with an event program and an exhibition of photographs of current LIFE projects in Croatia in the Exhibition Pavilion of the Botanical Garden in Zagreb.

The ceremony, in the role of the National Contact Point for the LIFE Program in the Republic of Croatia, was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, and during its two-hour duration, through blitz presentations, 17 LIFE projects that are currently implementing in Croatia were presented. The LIFE CROLIS project was presented by project manager Domagoj Stjepan Krnjak.

The event opened with introductory speeches about the results and successes of the LIFE Program in Croatia so far, with a review of the numerous challenges that await us in the coming years, bearing in mind the current climate and environmental threats. The director of CINEA’s department for the LIFE Program, Mr. Angelo Salsi, participated in the celebration program via video transmission, and the importance of the LIFE Program was emphasized by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Davor Filipović, in his speech. The presentation was attended by about eighty guests from public and state bodies, non-governmental organizations and the business sector who are or are still successfully participating in projects co-financed by the LIFE Program.
