LIFE CROLIS project workshop (Type 1), as the first of the two provided by the Grant agreement for the representatives of local authorities and Croatian experts in the field of land monitoring, was held on September 5, 2023 in Vukovar.

The goal of Type 1 workshops is the transfer of knowledge acquired during project development within the community of Croatian stakeholders of the CROLIS project – institutions and individual experts. Applying the obtained information and useful expert opinions of the workshop participants will ensure a timely update of the data model and data processing and their sustainable use for local authorities, relevant institutions and non-governmental organizations.

At the workshop in Vukovar, lectures were given by experts from all partner institutions involved in the project, while the project manager gave two presentations in front of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The participants came from administrative departments responsible for agriculture, spatial planning and environmental protection from several continental counties, county public institutions for nature protection, professional and scientific institutions and non-governmental organizations. The workshop in Vukovar (Type 1) was organized as part of Activity E1, and the other remaining workshop will be held in Zadar as part of the LIFE CROLIS project.
